Why is this domain so expensive?

Most of the domains we offer are highly sought after domains and were purchased at auction, backordered, personally negotiated, or delete pending.  The domains are not something you can just go to a registrar and type in and pay $15.  These domains typically have a waiting list of people to buy them.  These are premium domains that are not easily acquired and definitely not acquired at typical registration cost.

Additionally, many of these domains may have “SEO” work done on them – meaning they are optimized for search engines and already have significant traffic going to them. So buying this domain would also be like buying the traffic that goes with it – which means financial opportunity. How much more is a domain worth if it already has 1,000 monthly hits to it?

Who is eKrum, why do they have this domain?

eKrum is an internet marketing company that acquires domain names for clients or projects that sometimes get used, sometimes not.  eKrum also has the opportunity to purchase premium or hard to get domain names prior to public release.  eKrum is primarily in the marketing business and is not a domain name trading business.  We have collected an extensive portfolio of valuable domains however and now offer these to the public.

 

Can I transfer ownership of this domain?

Absolutely.  After purchasing, this domain completely belongs to you.  The ICANN (the official internet organization) however does have some rules on transferring domains.  In many cases we can instantly transfer your domain, in some cases it takes a few days.  If the domain has recently been transferred or is about to expire, there could be a 60 day ICANN limitation on transferring.

 

What comes with the purchase?

If you purchase and choose not to transfer the domain yet, eKrum will provide free domain hosting through the remainder of the registration period (usually less than one year).  After that, you could elect to transfer the domain or continue with our hosting services for $145 annually ($10 per month for hosting plus $25 domain renewal).

If you need a web site or internet marketing or become a client of eKrum, we will give you 50% of the domain sales price as credit toward your project.

 

Can you help me get a domain name I want?

Through our partnerships, we can help get many domains that are considered hard to get.  It really depends on if the existing owner wants to sell or not.  As they say, everyone has a price – but be prepared to pay!

 

What makes a domain name valuable?

Several factors, including: existing traffic to the domain, the Alexa ranking, the number of existing in-links to the site, the number and rankings of Google indexed pages, the keywords used in the domain, the desirability of the name – and much, much more!
